Guided Grouse Hunt

Service Description

We will depart from an entrance point into the North Maine Woods (Eagle lake, Ashland, or Portage Lake, whatever works best for you). After that we'll go explore some of the best hunting grounds for ruffed grouse in the country! I’ll take you to some of my favorite locations in the North Maine Woods, teach you about ideal grouse habitat, all while hunting for the king of all birds. We can hunt from the truck or on some of my favorite walking roads. Right now, I don’t offer hunts behind a gun dog. However, keep an eye out for that in the future! All you’ll need is a hunting license and a way to get to the meeting point. All gear, lunch, and transportation are provided. However, if you prefer to use your own shotgun that’s perfectly fine. I’ll have a few spares just in case. Guided trips are 500$ for two people, a third person can be added at request for an additional 100$. The 250$ deposit reserves your spot, the remainder will be due after your trip. (Note: Deposits are non-refundable However, can be returned within one year if canceled 30 days prior to your scheduled trip date.) Feel free to reach out to me by email prior to booking the trip.
